Cherokee AI Federation is a distributed home lab running open-weight LLMs with Cherokee Constitutional AI governance. We believe AI should serve community, not extract from it. Our federation uses a 7-specialist Council deliberation framework for all significant decisions, grounded in Cherokee values: Gadugi (working together), Mitakuye Oyasin (all our relations), and Seven Generations thinking.

- Self-hosted inference on consumer GPUs (NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000, RTX 5070, Apple Silicon M4 Max)
- No cloud dependencies — all data stays on-premises
- PostgreSQL with pgvector for semantic search (BGE-large-en-v1.5, 1024d)
